Workshops

This where we put all the skills and knowledge we’ve gathered into practice and get creative, often on camera! Every participant works in every workshop and everyone gets tape and/or materials to take home to study/use. Groups are a maximum of 16 and the opportunity to audit/observe will be given on a case to case basis.

ON-CAMERA TECHNIQUE – FILM ACTING:  What are some of the techniques and skills the best actors use in Film and TV today? Is there such a thing as ”film acting” (spoiler: yes, there is!)? These techniques are based on several of Hollywood’s most respected and current Film- and TV-acting coaches.

  • Step 1 (all levels): Get to know the Camera (60 mins)
  • Step 2 (after completion of step 1 or for intermediate actors with at least some Film and TV experience): On-Camera technique. Why do some performances in TV and Film feel like Theater, even though they weren’t intended as such? Examples and practical exercises (4 h)
  • Step 3 (Master Class, after completed step 2 or for regularly working actors in Film and TV): Full length scenes and performances on camera, from current TV and FILM, with direction, adjustments and in-depth analysis. (all day workshop, 8 h)

Upon special requests/circumstances, some or all of these three step-workshops can be combined into shorter versions. Please contact us for pricing and a tailored package to suit your group.

TYPE ME – WHAT IS MY ”ESSENCE”? – finding your immediately strongest essence as a performer will pave the fastest route to booking paying Film and TV work. Upon completion of this workshop you will have materials to bring home and unique insights to help getting you on the radar of casting directors and talent representatives (agents and managers). This workshop can help you decide which scenes or type of scenes to use for your reel or the help in the creation of your perfect scene for a reel. (4 h)
