Himmel & Havn

“Himmel & Havn offers fine dining at the end of a fishing pier in Ballstad, Lofoten. The building housing the restaurant was in use for commercial fishing as late as 1986, so the place has a lot of history and personality. They offer a modern take on traditional Norwegian cuisine, using high-quality local produce in their dishes. In the restaurant there is also an eclectic collection of silverware and furniture, so we decided to tone down the visual identity to make as much room for the unique surroundings and the experience as possible. The identity makes use of found photography from Kanstadsamlingen (The Kanstad collection) to show the long history of their location.”

Cadabra

“XYZ Technologies, first recognized as a provider of audiovisual and multimedia solutions, wanted to establish its own brand of creative services (Cadabra), allowing it to design captivating collective experiences while avoiding any confusion with its technical department. Inspired by their mission – which is to transform knowledge into a show – we took advantage of the repetition of the single vowel of the name to symbolize this transformation directly through the design of its logo. Then, to communicate the magic associated in all their productions, we developed the new identity using iridescent hot stamping, reacting to light in a shimmering iridescent color.”

Le Petit Camion

“Le Petit Camion — a Citroen H van coffee truck who came to impress coffee lovers market. Serving specialty coffee coffee and introducing high-end coffee in the Qatari Market tasters and lovers are now able to try LPC different blends. For the brand design, our goal was to design a clean with a mix of vintage and hipster look branding approach. The typography that makes up the core logotype is bold and confident but contains subtle quirks and imperfections that hint at the unconventional nature of the venue. The numerous brand marques also feature different takes on the ’Est. 2017’ date which will thoroughly reinforce the brand launch. As our coffees all provide from different regions and altitudes, our symbol shapes a horizon of mountains (inspired in the front van grille), representing the different altitudes of coffee productions necessary to create the growing conditions to have dense, tasty and desirable beans. Enjoy!”

CTC

“Cotton Thompson Cole offer commercial construction and property consultancy for a wide range of sectors. But in a crowded market full of specialists, they’d always struggled to communicate the breadth of what they do.

“In a category where everybody offers something slightly different, Cotton Thompson Cole are unique. They offer a reliable, end-to-end service. A powerful point of difference for clients struggling to understand who they can trust, and the complexities of what any project might require. So our Brand Idea became ‘From Plan to Reality’.”
