PATAGRANDE

“A tribute to those who travelled our country, Mexico, in order to reconquer the origins of mezcal. We created a clean and elegant brand with a touch of mysticism, exalting the pleasure of drinking a good mezcal. The name PATAGRANDE derives from an ancient legend, we wanted to own it by creating a figure inspired in alebrijes and Mexican creatures, where the explorers encountered them during their travels before finding the elixir. In the brand, we appreciate elements of exploration that emphasize the history, as well as the examination of discovering the best mezcal.”

Arzabal Group

“Arzábal combines a classic tavern concept with a high-class restaurant. After a while, we realized Álvaro and Iván, couldn’t stop for a minute, creating new concepts, ideas, spaces, and projects. After working on several of their brands, we thought it was about time to create a very neutral mother brand to sustain all of their past, present and future projects, spaces and sub-brands. We built an elegant and minimal visual world that evolved from their main ”Arzábal” project logotype and we played with the “/ and O” symbolism that provides the brand with the meaning of ”belonging to a group”.”

Foco

“It was a thrill when Acción Cultural Española contacted us among other studios to build a new brand for an international event. The concept was to generate a series of international events and actions to promote Spanish culture in a hosting country every 3 years. We found the concept itself especially interesting as the plan was to create different culture epicenters or focuses to spread Spanish culture as an expansive wave. That is how we created our proposal: Foco (focus) a word that sounds very similar in any language and describes the epicenter of our culture movement. The symbolism of that expansive wave was also made evident in the logotype and we combined it with fluor colors to create a modern, very modular yet unique visual identity.”

Durán Joyeros

“Revamping a 130 years old jewelry brand is a huge challenge. We preserved the original logotype with some minor adjustments and we chose a more feminine, modern and fresh color palette to attract a younger target without losing the brand’s essence and expertise. For the same reason, we softened neutral colors, transforming black into a carbon dark grey color, which conceptually is the essence of a diamond. We also worked on the brand’s new tone of communication and language, closer, emotional and more optimistic, also reflected on the new photography style. A whole makeover maintaining the origin and story of Durán Joyeros.”

CCMM

“New identity for CC Maasmechelen (BE) — CCMM never really had a fixed identity, it just switched along with the design of the seasonal catalogue. Time for a solid, strong brand. So here it is, featuring a simple and bold lettercombo, resembling matching pieces, young & old, communicating characters. The typographic shape is built on a modular grid, easy to adapt and implement in most circumstances or environments. A couple of main variations were used throughout, while some were to be altered in the design itself.”

Zaag

“GRPCom is the largest media group of Paraná and one of the largest in Brazil. It includes newspapers like Gazeta do Povo, radio stations as 98FM, TV channels like OTV and RPC TV, an affiliate of Rede Globo, among others.

“Designit was asked to develop the branding project for new business unit that was being created: an agency specialized in promotional marketing. The process included workshops with the team of the new company which enabled the exchange of experiences and points of view, as well as the collaborative construction of the new brand.

“When everybody Zigs, Zag” is the mantra of innovation of Marty Neumeyer and the starting point of all this identity. The design element here is the invisible element: the ascending trail left on the set of parallel lines or images. Trail, box and the Z give the tune of the identity keeping precisely the same angle.”
