These business cards are for Providence-based accountant Shaemus Shepard. Given the conservative field, I wanted to deliver something simple, classy and professional. However, they still needed to be memorable and stand out from the crowd.

I selected the type face Optima for this project. It’s classy and modern yet still traditional enough for a 28 year old accountant.

The finished cards are printed on 16pt stock with spot UV coating on the front.

I wanted something that matched my website and reflected my personality well. The spot varnish usually makes people pause and try to wiggle it against the light or feel the texture.
