Inspire Girls Academy

“The founders of Inspire Girls Academy, a gutsy and brilliant trio of sisters, had a bold vision: a non-parochial, all-girls elementary school dedicated to holistic education and empowerment. With Chicago’s notoriously competitive independent school market, IGA needed a powerful identity and full suite of marketing materials to attract local families.”

Omar Hakeem

“Omar Hakeem is a D.C. based architect, specializing in social and environmental equality through thoughtful design and planning. He has completed award winning affordable housing projects, rapid response disaster housing prototypes, urban bike and pedestrian infrastructure, regional drainage improvements, and community based rural planning initiatives. Omar’s passion for design has taken him from the cloud forests of Costa Rica to the ravaged communities of the Gulf Coast and many places in between. His professional practice has also included supporting large arts & cultural projects and prefabricated modular buildings. With such a diverse portfolio and skill set, it was important for the brand to not stand in the way of the work. A modern brand based on sharp lines and perfect circles mimics Omar’s standard principles of design.”

Founded by an impressive team of proven industry veterans, TapZen is poised to create shockwaves within the growing mobile gaming category.

“TapZen approached Character to develop their corporate identity. The name Tap–Zen is derived from the physical tapping action associated with mobile game play, combined with the Zen-like state players fall into during periods of intense concentration. The identity had to speak to both of these qualities, in addition to being sufficiently versatile to complement a variety of gaming genres.”
