No Early Birds

No Early Birds is a timeless furniture collection designed by Swedish architect Pär Söderberg. The beautifully crafted leg design is its most characteristic feature. Kurppa Hosk was assigned to develop a visual identity and a website that could articulate the brand’s elegant craftsmanship. Kurppa Hosk also helped launch the collection at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. Today, No Early Birds is viewed as a modern furniture classic.”

Korshags

“In 2014, Kurppa Hosk was approached by a successful family-owned business called Falkenbergs Lax. Once small, local and specialized in smoked salmon, the company had expanded over the years and become an international food player, offering a broad range of fish and seafood products. However, its name, brand and visual appearance still reflected the original small-scale business, which proved an increasing hurdle for continued growth. Kurppa Hosk helped Falkenbergs Lax transform – and become Korshags.”

Spread The Sign

“European Sign Language Centre (ESC) is a non-profit organization promoting access to and use of sign language. One way they are doing this is by documenting all the different sign languages in the world and making them accessible through a digital service, called spreadthesign.com. Essentially, a global online dictionary for the hearing impaired. Kurppa Hosk supported the initiative by creating a distinctive visual identity for Spread the sign, including a specially designed typography with icons for every letter in the sign-language alphabet.”

Ogeborg

“Ogeborg is a Stockholm-based carpet supplier targeting the professional market. As an agent and also a producer of its own high-quality carpet collections, Ogeborg serves as a complete partner to real estate owners, architects and interior designers. In a market landscape where suppliers have similar products and perceptions of them are largely the same, Kurppa Hosk helped Ogeborg build a strong and distinctive carpet brand – based on the company’s unique culture.”

Ace Era

“Ace Era is the parent company of upcoming learning app TipBitz. Besides going into the education sector, the client intends to expand into F&B and other industries in time to come.

“A wordmark and set of exploratory illustrations were done in the mid-century modern style, in keeping with the ”wholesome living” image that the spectrum of businesses under Ace Era will eventually come to encompass. Temporary business cards and a website were also made in anticipation of the app launch.”

Gather & Co.

“Gather & Co. is a wholesale business that specializes in the sourcing of local and organic products and produce. Offering a highly curated selection, Gather & Co. aims to make the sourcing and making of quality product more accessible.

“The identity draws inspiration from the traditional ‘woven’ basket used by gatherers in forages. The notion of the ‘weave’ has been reinterpreted into a brand pattern that is applied with restraint to both printed and digital applications. Paired with fine, uppercase typography, the identity sits comfortably alongside almost any other brand or product offered by Gather & Co.”

Beck & Robertson

“Beck & Robertson (BAR) is a Melbourne based interior architecture studio that specializes in large scale projects within the hospitality sector. With a global roster of clients including Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, and Rosewood, BAR has firmly established itself as an industry leader.

“Hunt & Co. worked with BAR closely to redevelop their brand identity, positioning, and online presence. The outcome is a minimal, yet considered aesthetic that reflects the studio’s design ethos. Designed to seamlessly sit amongst their client base of high-end hotels, the identity is not about making a bold statement, but demonstrating a high level of refinement and consideration.

“The deliverables for the project included printed collateral, portfolio publication, and an entirely responsive website.”
