The Fableists

”The Fableists’ story is a tale about beautiful kids’ clothes, underpinned by sustainability with plenty of attitude thrown in the mix. We created a brand identity for them built on these foundations, an identity with a rebellious ’punk rock’ flair that challanges people to ‘dare to think different’.We’re currently working with their team to apply the brand – excting things in the pipeline.”

Manuscritics

”Manuscritics is a revolutionary project that connects Authors, Readers and Publishers. Manuscritics uploads books from literary agencies onto an online reading platform. They grant access to a maximum of 100 expert readers from their community, so that they can provide relevant information that is sent to publishers. This platform allow publishers and authors to know the opinion of the readers before the manuscript has even been published. Publishers pay Manuscritics a percentage from the sale of books that are discovered via the platform, as well as an annual service fee.

”Erretres. The Strategic Design Company developed the Strategy, Branding and Website for the platform. A serif typography for the logotype and an iconic symbol (a mix of a book and a speech bubble) are complemented with the colorful style for the illustrations and infographies required to explain the platform and the business model.”

Mark Edwards

”An international clothing manufacturer based in Montreal, Mark Edwards Apparel appointed Paprika for the creation of a distinct and distinguished visual identity.

”As clothes often express our personality, we centered our design around the monogram “ME”, which corresponds to the company’s initials. We created a font whose thin strokes were erased so as to put the serif at the forefront. We also selected a simple black, navy blue, and blue palette to convey the brand’s prestige.”

Clovis

”Clovis offers personalized private coaching for private individuals or companies. The Quebec-based company gave itself the mission to assist customers in reaching their goals and surpassing themselves.

”In 2014, Clovis commissioned Paprika for the creation of its visual identity and letterhead design. In collaboration with the designer Catherine D’Amours, we designed a refined and classic identity built around the symbol of the horse. Emblematic of natural strength, elegance, and speed, this rallying animal was also judiciously chosen because it symbolizes the company’s values. The stylized representation of the horse, embossed on letterhead design items, is reminiscent of the circular shape of the C of Clovis, whereas the circle which surrounds it highlights the idea of federation. As for the color palette, the white has a soothing effect, while the navy blue and gold evoke success and excellence.”
