Grünanteil

“Grünanteil is a non-profit organization and interactive platform for green city spaces and urban gardening. Their goal is to support numerous projects, from small-scale neighborhood gardening to entire parks, by the exchange of knowledge, skills, resources and tools. A core element will be the website with an interactive map, where users can register their ideas and projects for everyone to experience.

“We created the design with a strong focus on DIY and built the identity around a palette of colors and graphical elements, that is, when combined, just as flexible as nature itself. A custom typeface and the use of seed paper for plantable business cards round up the character of this very unique project.”

Essential Juice

“Essential Juice is an independent shop producing hand-crafted fruit and vegetable juice. The produce and herbs are cold-pressed daily and come in a variety of flavor combinations. We were tasked with creating an identity for the brand, as well as packaging, store design, digital menu boards, business cards, posters, and a mobile-responsive website.”

Federal Emergency Management Agency

“The year is 2030. The post-apocalyptic darkness have fell, and the earth as we know it, has come to an end. This is the dystopic story of man’s existence after earth’s destruction. The disaster and the subsequent ice age destroyed all organic life, and all forms of human civilization. There was nowhere to hide, the earth would soon be covered by a kilometer-thick layer of ice. All hope for the existence of humanity, would always be lost, hadn’t it not been for the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency.”

Soundzipper

“Soundzipper is a Singapore-based acoustic design consultancy. They plan, design and build breath-taking rooms that look great and sound even better, but found it hard to explain to potential clients there’s more to their work than acoustical engineering. They needed a voice that made people aware of the design work going on behind the scenes in all of their projects.

“To help them find that voice, I did a complete overhaul of their visual identity, seeking to target a younger, more design-aware audience: musicians, architects and sound engineers in need of spaces that not only sound good, but look great as well. To help place them at the forefront of their market, I’ve also iteratively designed a brand new website, showcasing their past work and shedding a light on their business.”

Woodland Wine Merchant

“Woodland Wine Merchant is a tidy and eclectic wine store in Nashville, Tennessee. They carefully curate wines from artisan producers who practice natural & sustainable methods. The brand identity’s design collides two worlds—nature and the building’s unadorned 1960s modern qualities.

“The shop tirelessly hunts and gathers the best value wines in the world, ultimately bringing them back home. Our design is inspired by this, positioning Tennessee’s red fox as a symbol for the brand. The type is kept stark and utilitarian with subtle quirks referencing gridless mid-century layouts.”

Last Bummer Records

‘Founded by Gabi Sifre of Vice Magazine and Jaqueline Lewis of Chief, Last Bummer Records represents bands they love and believe in. To quote Sifre and Lewis warmly, “Last Bummer Records is a bad ass, bespectacled, blinged out phoenix rising up from the insufferable detritus that is the current music scene.”’

ENFOS

“Based in Silicon Valley, ENFOS is an enterprise cloud software platform that manages all aspects of global environmental cleanup. They needed a brand redesign to feel as global and cutting-edge as their product and the clients they serve. We modernized their existing logotype, brightened their colors and cleaned up their existing mark to create some professional polish. A modern website helps to organize info about the company in a clean, concise way. Icons and images were sourced and customized to help tell their story and showcase their clients. An interactive global map illustrates the vast amount of environmental liabilities that need tending to. Business cards continue the “dark to light” motif.”

Alchemy Juice Co.

“Alchemy Juice Co is a cold pressed juice and health food restaurant and shop based on Grafton Street, Dublin. The client wanted to create a brand that felt almost medicinal while also having a playful style. Whilst the client also wanted to stay away from the use of iconic Alchemical symbols, our design focussed on and elements that are commonly known. Instead I wanted to focus on the etched style of illustration used in Alchemy traditions. We developed a set of illustrated flying characters which represent the idea that natural raw juice elevates us to a higher place. In a way it was poking a little fun at a certain well known brand that fills you with sugar and ”gives you wings”! The furniture and interiors were co-designed by Revert with the client and furniture maker Andrew Burdock.”

Seven Wood

“Revert were really excited to be approached by Niamh Banks to work on the identity for her new houseware brand Seven Wood. Niamh has roots in Sligo in the west of Ireland and it is from a W.B Yeats poem ’In the Seven Woods’ that the name originates. I created a set of icons that were inspired from the poem to use throughout the visual identity right through from window graphics to bags. A huge part of this design was the website and on-line shop which sells a beautiful section of carefully selected houseware and apothecary products. ”

Mosquito

“Mosquito have a simple offering : a champagne bar without the caviar and a dessert bar without with frosting. Located in Gastown, Vancouver the small room contradicts the expectation of a traditional dessert bar – edgy with a fine balance of masculine and feminine details. The brand created by Glasfurd & Walker draws on the interior design details and adds a layer of sophistication and luxury through custom designed typography, deep colour palettes and accents of metallic finishing on printed collateral such as menu’s, wallpaper and stationery. The name is an intentional counterpoint to the beauty and nuance of the space – again playing on idea contradiction and expectation.”
