Friends of Ham

“Friends of Ham is a bar and charcuterie based in Leeds that serves the finest continental meats and cheeses alongside a vast selection of independent craft ales which has led to the venue quickly gaining a loyal following and opening a second premesis. After previously designing their menus, we have continued to work with them over the past year on their ever changing print collateral.

“It was important for the application of the identity to remain fluid and flexible throughout the printed materials which we achieved through a wide variety of materials, formats and processes such as letterpress, foil stamping, screen printing and the use of specialist papers made from spent brewer’s grain that reflect their craft ethos.”

Bullfight

“Bullfight is Shawn Cirkiel’s new Spanish concept situated in the burgeoning Airport Blvd. corner of East Austin. Cirkiel’s love affair with Spain was sparked when he landed his first job out of culinary school at La Marquesa, at the time the only five-star Spanish restaurant in the country. Learning about the food and culture of Spain became a lifelong passion. Previously a Shell station that ran in Cirkiel’s family, Bullfight delights in juxtaposing the language of auto-mechanics with the grace of dance — be it bailaora or torero.”

“We created an identity system where the brand reflects its singularity across different elements. We designed a typographic logo that reflects the modern and trendsetting culinary concept while a series of stamps complement and unify the different variety of meats and flavours, while always maintaining the brand’s sincere and classic feel. The color palette is based on warm tones such as brown, yellow, gold, and they contrast against the colder tones such as the blue to keep the balance between freshness and quality. The pattern that complements the brand applications was designed to remind us of family home-cooked meals.

“The brand’s system offers an integral brand experience, where the enjoyment of food, good wine, love of travelling, and spending time together meet at the same place.”

Poburger

“A baker and handful of pastry chef with an expert in burgers has the brilliant idea to put together a copyright dining space. The name of the dish was the union that each loves: On the one hand the Poboys (American sandwiches 40s), and the other the good and beloved burgers. The idea of the brand itself would be to transmit classic air fast food of the 40s and 50s, so a good working vintage footprint with raw materials.

“Joining pieces printed with interventions created by hand (such as dermatographic pencil to write applications) managed to create a pleasant and functional atmosphere. Poburger lies in the city of Chapecó / SC, in Brazil.”

Analina

“Analina is a traditional store in the city of Chapecó / SC , it exists more than 20 years. Thus the store has become an icon of this city , being a reference point for many purchases. What is curious is all catergorias store product sales , ranging from costumes for parties, accessories for parties and events , material for ballet , swimming accessories, makeup among other things.

“The shop itself did not have a visual identity , so our team was engaged to develop an identity that represented the traditionalism of the company, but a more modern market positioning. We developed a typography for the brand , leaving it all in lower case ( bringing it closer to the public) and developed a family of icons to symbolize the brand.”
